Pyles Camp Programs - First Year Experience

First Year Camper Program at Lloyd Meadows Facility

In the WildernessA well deserving boy is given an opportunity to have the experience of a lifetime. The campers are placed in a group with 6 to 7 other boys. The fun begins the first day they arrive in camp. The camp has a time tested structured schedule of activities, which include things such as Horseback Riding, a low and high Ropes Course, Archery, Nature, Crafts and many more. Each activity also has a life lesson associated with it. .

The group will also take a backpacking trip into the Golden Trout Wilderness. The boys will spend a few nights under the stars, learning teamwork, goal setting and many other invaluable lessons which can be applied in their everyday lives. The group returns to the main camp and the boys will already begin to use their new found skills and the respect for others.
